Sword Question

Say if I had a 100 atk 2handed sword, and a 100 atk 1handed sword.. Would I do the same damage, or is there like a diffrent damage formula with the swords? Thanks!

@ImNotGus, that is incorrect. The only reason a 2h's DPS is higher is because it has higher base attack. Equal attack, 1h is ALWAYS BETTER.

the dmg formula isnt 2 dif, its like for 1 handed is like wep atk x .3str x .3dex or something while dmg formula for 2 handed sword is like wep atk x .8str x .3dex its something along the lines of that

... Guys, DPS and DPM are the same thing: measures of damage over time. It's damage per hit that's different. And with the same attack, 2h technically can hit more DPS depending on the speeds of the swords.
