Karstan or zedbug?

Which would be better for me to use? A 14/106 Karstan or a 12/130 zedbug? I'm dexless, and have enough accuracy without the karstan. Range with the karstan is 13xx~40xx

hmmm id say zedbug. Its clearly higher then the karstan, but its your choice. Speed or Power. I used a Zedbug till 120, then a Diesra since I like looks

Well, I do like power. But, who doesn't? Will it outdamage the karstan in terms of dpm?

24 ATT is a pretty big deal.. Karstan is normal speed but what speed is that of the zedbug? Slow, right? But how much speed does it differ with the karstan. If it's 1 speed then I'd choose the Karstan, with 2 or more, I wouldn't know.

It's a slow speed, but not entirely sure what slow(#).

Karstan, it's quicker and has more accuracy :D

Zedbug is slow (8) while a Karstan is normal (6). With booster, the Karstan will be Fast (3) while the Zedbug will only be Fast (5). In my opinion, they are both par on terms of dpm with maybe the Zedbug pulling through just slightly more.

There is no specific speed = x ATT formula since the usefulness of speed changes with levels. I could've sworn that people go from saying 10-20 on every of these threads. At your level, the Zedbug > Karstan. I'm not sure if you incorporate Combo Critical build up speed. Even a level 140 or so has a hard time keeping up speed > power with a 10 WATT difference for 1 speed level. Anyway, I thought the Zedbug was slow (7). I don't keep track myself, but there are a bunch of different people saying a bunch of different things.

Perhaps your getting those 2 mixed up, or I might be the one mixed up. :D Lol, anyways back to TS. Yeah at your current level, the Zedbug will be slighty better than the Karstan, but it does get harder to keep up speed over weapon attack for only a minimal speed level.

Maybe I was thinking of the Eclipse or something. Anyway, the Karstan probably won't do it for DPM compared to higher level weapons like Reverse class. Weapon speed for Arans has a less significant usefulness in comparison to the other Warrior classes because they have 2 hits in lesser strength. Usually you need a Crimson Arcglaive just to be considered for comparing with the stronger weapons.

So, use the zedbug if I want more power for lesser speed. Or, use the karstan for lesser power, more speed. It's really not a big difference. Gotcha.

I say Zedbug. Cause 2 level speed shouldn't be such a problem. You could wait in the summer for the PSB event IF we have it. XD
