It says to find a tree barrel from Dark stumps, and i have been hunting those FOREVER now, and i only got their normal drops. ._. am i doing it wrong?

I think you kill orange mushrooms for the Pumpkin Head? I forget... but it tells you when you open up the quest box.

Check the quests list. Pumpkin heads drop from ribbon pigs. It wasn't really that hard for me to get the dark branch or w/e. I did it in the forest in Ellinia though. Maybe you have to go there?
