The Possible Problem of not being able to log in

Okay, so many Maplers lately have not been able to log into their accounts. This is only in theory, and so far, the only real solution is to reset all servers or do a server maintenance, and possibly a roll back (which I don't want as many others don't either) So this is my theory as to why it doesn't work. As some of you recall, many people tried to crash Channel 1 by means of putting as many people in it or whatever in order to do this "duping" glitch that people tend to abuse like no other. Due to the fact that many people ended up crashing the channel (possibly), the server overloads and thinks that the client is still operational with the character still logged in. Everyone who was on during the time of the first crashes were all affected by it (people who were on yesterday afternoon up until the evening hours of PST). Meaning that, NO ONE who was on at that time will be able to log into their accounts. The reason why we are not able to log in is because the website now starts the client. Before, the client detected who would be going on and off the account. Now, it's the website. The client and website don't work simultaneously anymore, meaning that the start up is separated from the actual client causing the client to think we're on when in reality, we're logged off. Does this all make sense? Sorry if it's too confusing. But seriously, the only real solution to this is to either play something else or have Nexon reset all servers and what nots. Or have a maintenance thing go on. Nothing is wrong with your computer. It's not you, it's the client/MapleStory itself. Good job Nexon America. You really fail this time. -_-;; EDIT: In simple terms, you can't get on because the client thinks you're still on. I don't know how to clarify that anymore.

Maybe, because theres Ijji and they do it from they login from their website... and i have never had a login problem with them. There are a lot of websites that are switching to this, so i don't think its the website thats the problem

It's not the website, but it's the fact that the client and website are separated. It's the client that thinks we're still logged in, not the website.

Now that I think about it, I have had an issue like this many times on dungeon fighter. When you try to enter a channel after logging in, you get an error and the game just sits like that until you log out and exit.

Well, this is only a theory. I was supposed to post this earlier today during the 2x event, but I was too wrapped up in being angry about none of us logging in. XD But anyway, yeah. I really do hope so too. I hope this helped!
