Weird thing downloaded to my computer

| Well I was just checking some threads on basil and this weird thing happened and all my firewalls got turned off. My computer started talking all this crazy business about keylogger, trojan etc stuff being downloaded or ran in the background of my computer. I system restored and I needed to know, if I system restored way back to last month will the keyloggers and all that stuff from a few minutes ago still be running on my computer somewhere or am I safe? |

| http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-antivirus-2010 , i was the guy who asked if it was antivirus, i cant post links on that basil account basically, download the thing, malware or w.e, do quick scan, they show you infected stuff and have it erased. itll reboot comp and its gone i fixed mine 2 hrs ago with that program |

[/quote] Those arent real keyloggers. the virus wants you to think it is a keylogger so you get paranoid and allow it to download the REAL keylogger. As long as you didnt click Okay or anything you're safe. ALSO: it is similar to something i've had called AlphaAntivirus. SUMMARY: you are safe. |
