| Now I know im probably just restating things that people have already thought of or already may have noticed, but bear with me. Once again, I admit this is kind of a obvious thing but, they just made the dual blade class in kms which means that they have in a way reinvented a bandit-esque class. Now lets look at this; up to this point of maplestory most of the new classes have been a remake or a rehash of an older class. Look at Cygnus, every class in that branch was based off of an adventurer counterpart. Same goes as far as we have seen,with Arans and Evans being a diversion of a mage and the diversion of a polearm user, (cant bring myself to say arans are the counterpart of a dragon knight). Now that I say that, even though its just restating something most of you know, the dual blade can be viewed as the variant of a bandit or a dagger user. My speculation is this, nexon most likely wont create 2 brand new bandit/dagger use classes no matter what branch of characters it is in. So what does that mean for the legend class that is holding the sword(or dagger) and shield? What I thought at that point was, even if nexon does decide to release two new dagger classes, what would the legend version have in comparison to the adventurer counterpart? Is it possible that the legend that people thought was the "thief" wielding a shield and dagger, is just something to throw us off? Is it really just another warrior legend that is going to be a 1h sword user stronger than a hero? I really wanna hear some opinions on this! And for anyone who thinks the dual blade class is a part of legends, thats your choice to believe and I welcome that, but I am going to stick with the idea that dual bladers are the last thief. Once again, sorry if I am restating things you already thought of or knew or if im assuming too much too early but I just wanna know what people think about this.. |
