I've been using Internet Explorer all my life I think its time to switch, and I need you guys opinions Which one do you prefer and why?

Chrome is awesome. It''s faster than firefox, too.

Chrome - really fast with little extensions(add-ons) Firefox - slow but a lot of add-ons

Biased opinion: Chrome: ++ • Runs off your computer's processor - it's as fast as you are. • Good support from Google for updates • Really neat use of tabs. (Each one loads individually, you can move them around, etc) -- • If a page takes up a lot of memory, ALL your processes will slow down. (Counter point: It's rare as hell) • Has a fairly small base of add-ons. (Counter point: It's slowly growing) Firefox: ++ • Has an extremely large base of add-ons. -- • Many of the add-ons are useless, hard to find good ones in the sea of add-ons. (Counter point: You can just get recommendations from friends/basilers) Personal opinion? I used Firefox for a while, found it slow. Switched to Chrome, loved it. When Firefox hit 3.0, I changed back for a little while, then went back to Chrome because it was still slow. Chrome's recent introduction of add-ons is just icing on the cake.

Firefox is best if you want customization, Google Chrome is best if you want a super fast browser.

Chrome all the way. And if you don't want Chrome, I'd go for Opera. But not FireFox, it's slow..
