Should I quit?

I seriously think I'm going to quit. With all these hackers and dupers etc. the game isn't what it was before. I think I'm going to sell everything, make everything into mesos (I would say that would be close to max mesos) and quit. Hopefully, I'll return someday when maplestory is stable again.

would you rather have a hacker controlling a gm or dupers crashing the server. A hacker with a gm will never end, but the dupers can be stopped. Maybe you should quit til maple gets stable once again...

I've thought about the same thing...you're really not alone. I spent alot of mesos and time trying to scroll my facestompers and SCG. It bugs me to see somebody duplicate theres and make 10 of them. My FS are 9 attack and were created before vicious hammers. They're currently still unhammered. My SCG are 19 attack...I scrolled almost all of my own gear so it sucks seeing all these duped items.

It's up to you. I personally am currently selling off items and giving stuff to friends who continue to play. Nexon is a terrible company and always slap their dedicated players in the face. They do not care about their customers whatsoever (the database breach in December which they still blame the players), item lock glitch that instead of fixing they just stopped the early unlocking, and the recent password thingy that screwed over thousands of players who do not have access to their emails, or were permanently banned/ip banned. Maybe if we continue to send complaints through BBB and send in stories to newspapers, they will write up a story or attempt to take action against nexon.

I scrolled my 18atk bwg's and I was really happy because it was my first semi-godly item. Then BAM these people just come in with a whole bunch of crap and dupe scg's and wg's and godly fs'.
