Concerning the login failure and Nexon's lack of reponse.

The first thing we need to understand is that most of what people have said is confirmed so far, just speculation. What we do know is that this problem does not appear to be affecting everybody. Numerous people claim to be playing right now and are experiencing very few problems. Others, such as myself either can't log in or get disconnected when choosing a server/channel. What people are guessing is that the glitchy nature of the recent patch is causing this. We are aware of the freeze/stun glitch and other minor issues, so it would not come as a surprise if this was due to the patch. In regards to the rollback rumors , there is no proof that this will happen. Yes, rollbacks have occurred in the past, but do not let the non-updated ranking system scare you. From what I have heard, the ranks have not updated since the last patch because of some bug in the system. There is no proof that the login issue is due to the supposed "duping" or a hack by a known source. These could very well be happening, but there is no causation link between the game failure and these events. Also, it is best that people do not keep bringing up these as causes because all that will accomplish is spreading fear and panic across the community. Lastly, flaming Nexon will not help the issue. Many people say that Nexon does not work weekends, which is very much a possibility, and therefore does not know of or cannot resolve the issue at the current time. We will have to wait this one out, no matter how inconvenient that might be. Understand that this game has millions of players, and Nexon is company with limited staff. No matter what they do, they will not please the entire community. In fact, a community of that size puts a lot of pressure on servers and makes them that much harder to maintain. While some of you might disagree or find this post "useless", please don't start any flame wars or attacks. Feel free to post anything else you know (not guess) below. Happy Mapling, Dimintio.

why dont you guy start posting at maplestory forum site instead here? i mean if you really want your voice to be "heard" so to say cause even if you post in that forum moderators and gm doesnt do anything at all to listen to their users... i am also concerned with this login issue -_- but posting here makes no use. we already noticed that the whole day.

Just saying but, If nexon clearly said they will give us a 2x event on saturday (Today)due to the website login maintenance they should keep there word. As of right now ALL THESE PEOPLE CAN'T LOG ONTO THE GAME. Once they fix this issue there most likely going to give another 2x event. It's not fair to the people who can log on there main acc's and train today because they get todays 2x event + an additional 2x in the near future (compensation from nexon).
