IP Banned? This may help, it worked for me!

For everyone that has been IP banned, PLEASE READ THIS. IT MIGHT HELP YOU! so... I was IP banned from the day the server made us change our pws and launch from the website. Like many of you I've been locked out of the game due to changing too many passwords in a short amount of time. However today I am able to log back into the game, no problem. Caution: DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU DON'T KNOW UR EMAIL's LOGIN AND PW. Once an IP is deactivated, I believe that all the accounts you logged into and changed the pws on that IP will be deactivated since Nexon is suspicious that you may be a hacker/getting hacked. If you do not know your pw, you can't reactivate your account (for now) Here's how: turn off your modem AND LEAVE IT OFF for 24 hours or even a little longer if you want. turning off your modem and reconnecting it in 5 minutes or an hour doesnt do beans. This is because if you have DSL or Cable like me, your ISP provides you with an "IP LEASE" which is basically a contract if you will, stating that they will loan you a certain IP address for a certain amount of time. I've called my ISP and they say a lease usually lasts 1 day. if you disconnect your modem during this time (aka dont go on the internet AT ALL) odds are your modem will release the IP once the lease is up, and you can acquire a new IP address. I've also read online that beggining on at the 12th hour into your lease, your modem automatically sends a signal to the ISP trying to renew its lease, this is why its crucial that your modem remains OFFLINE during this period. if you are willing to go a day without internet, then this might work for you. I reconnected my modem this morning and my IP is indeed different. Now you should be able to log onto the Maple website, go and reactivate your account since it's probably been deactivated. Click the link in your email, reset your pw, and you're good to go. Obviously from this point on don't go logging on all your mules and changing your passwords like we originally did, otherwise you will get get IP banned again probably (and all your accounts will probably get deactivated... again). I'm going to try and change 1 password a week to be safe. Good luck.

I can login to my router and disconnect without unplugging it. and when it reconnects, It gives me a new IP instantly. I used to do this alot for other versions of maple.

[/quote] yea i read with dynamic IP addresses some people get new IPs after each connection online, but sadly that didn't work for me
