hi guys. where is the best place to start your multiplayer experience ? edit: which are the best maps to rapidly gain exp ?

My Characters: Preut - 13 KradiaEMS Aran Awakened

If you're playing team deathmatch or TDM Express, DO NOT PLAY ON: - Estate - Wasteland - or Rundown The first two are complete camping maps and Rundown just sucks period.

team Death match or Ground war. Just watch for corners and campers

My favorites are Highrise, Rust, Sub Base, Karachi and Skidrow. Edit : If your lucky and get AC130 on Rust you get a good amount of kills.

The only way to "rapidly gain exp" is to just play and learn the strategies. Oh, and your character stats on Split-screen are separate from your stats/unlocks online, therefore, "boosting" (playing with a friend on split screen and purposefully killing each other in a way to harvest exp) will NOT help you with online. (Except maybe to find what guns, perks, and killstreaks you like the most.)

Highrise IMO is the best beginner map. Other than that, Terminal, Skidrow, and Invasion are also great maps. Also, instaead of always playing Team Deathmatch, try playing Domination. It'll help you get used to having to complete objectives rather than just getting kills.

I personally like wasteland because you can camp on the outskirts of the map and slowly pick people off; building up your kill streak. I use Predator missile, then harriers, then chopper gunner.

[/quote] agreed i freacking HATE campers and noobtubers so much and i also dont like derail they spawn too far away from good killing spots lol

I like Underpass, Estate, and Highrise. Also, yeah I like Domination, you get exp for capturing stuff, and its pretty much like Team Death, but you know where everyone is. I prefer sniping maps though, that's like all I do. I just got my 1st Nuke on Wasteland the other day actually. And for Killstreaks, I use Harrier, Chopper Gunner, NUKE. BUT, I never get it. I usually use, Predator Missile, Harrier, and Chopper Gunner when I dont go for a Nuke.

I found Demolition to be pretty fast EXP.

free for all in rust with some friends and quick scoping, it's such a good time. my favorite map is karachi and highrise and do search and destroy when you start out it gives you 500 per kill and 1000 if you get a headshot which is pretty good but no respawn...

If you're playing on PC, couldn't tell ya. Us consoler's don't really have a choice unless we want to leave and suffer a loss each time.

If you consider yourself a "Noob" in mw2 you should play teamdeath match express otherwise if you know the real deal go and play HQ:Hardcore ricochet and if you want to learn to play i reccomend you to play Search and destroy it is the best exp and the best way to learn how to play. I play in ps3: AgentDarkness
