I can't change my passwordwhat's going on here?

Alright so after the last patch and the whole 'Change Your Password' campaign, I did. When I went to use that password to log into my desktop-based client, it wouldn't work. Tried the old one. Didn't work. So, I requested for a reset password. Got it! Awesome. Does it work in the desktop client? No. So I tried to change it on the website, back to a password that I was comfortable with, and OH! Lo and Behold, I can't do it. I can log in and start MS from the site, but it won't allow me to change it. What's going on with that? I enter all my info and then when I hit submit (old password --> new password page) it takes me to an Error Page from Nexon. Any ideas? I'm super frustrated (and yes, already submitted a ticket)

You can't even log in with the desktop anymore. If it send you to the error page, then it was successfully reset anyways, log in through the website and then click "Start Game".

[/quote] This might seem like a stupid question, but did you possibly use caps lock? And how exactly did you go about resetting your password, by logging into the site, then getting the "Reset Password" re-direct, or did you reset it the old-fashioned way? edit: Diregard those question, I re-read what you said. Uhh... wait it out, then try to change your password again later. =/

You guys do know, on the bottom right of page it said, skip changing your password right? Am I the only one that noticed and have my old password atm?

If it was mandatory they wouldn't have put the button down there. As well as, what can they do, if I don't change my password. Delete my account? Nexon, hasn't deleted an account since beta. There's a delete account option, I've tried to do it when I quit/to free out one of my emails, and 2 years later all my accounts are still present. Nexon is never true to their word, as well care enough to go into their database to delete one single account to the millinos they have in their database.

True enough--I just think this whole thing is over-the-top paranoia. I get that people want security, but at this point, it's causing more harm than it's doing good.

[/quote] I honestly don't mind the new system. While I still hold that every single "hacking victim" got hacked in some conjunction to their own doing, its great to see that Nexon is forcing people to be smart with their security.
