you are, officially, better debaters than my entire high school.* *Note: My school is extremely small. Extremely . To put it into perspective, at the moment, my graduating class consists of 26 students. Total. I realized this today in lunch. You see, I sit with a large group of my peers (not all of them are my friends...) at a lunch table, and somehow, the topic of several controversial issues was raised. Relgion, evolution, origin of the universe, ect. Now, I really didn't want to get in a heated debate with anyone, so I just stayed out of it. And for the longest time, I did. During this, ALOT of ridiculous things were said, the highlight being that "the possibility of of chunks of space rock colliding in such a way as to form planet Earth without intelligent assistance was so unlikely that it was impossible" (third note: this thread is not about religion, just happens to be a theme in the story. The point at which I just could not stop myself from intervening when this one girl was going on about something along the lines of how "We really know nothing about the past because we weren't their and we don't really no anything about dinosaurs and stuff because all we have are the bones and we might be putting them together wrong" -_- I believe I basically asked her if she knew anything about paleontology, ancient anatomy, of how full of crap she was. She didn't respond, or even try to back her claim up. Summary: I realized today that the people in my school (I have had debates with people other than the ones at my lunch table) have basically zero ability to debate, really know nothing about the things they propose when they try to, and can really just be proven wrong with little effort. In comparison to Basilmarket, my school blows at debating.

Yeah, typing debating is a lot easier than talking. You have time to structure everything you're saying, look for info, etc.
