| So from the data i've gathered and videos seen, these dual bladers apparently have better damage and mobility than any of the current classes. Suposedly their weakpoint is their low survivability but that can be argued since there are certain methods like HP washing and Hb that can counter that weakness. This not only means they will leave shadowers in oblivion since they have exactly the same abilities but enhanced, but they will easily outperform most classes making Heroes and NLs look like little girls in terms of damage. Suddendly maple will become 80% dual bladers and the game will pretty much die. I mean whose idea was it to make a class with better damage, faster, combining some of the best buffs from other classes (haste, SE) and some of the coolest trademark abilities such as Corkscrew blow, a shadow partner that also works as a puppet, a stonger Savage Blow, and so on. Unless this class undergoes some drastic changes and is weakened to match the rest of the classes or is not released at all, it is pretty much gg. |

| The tittle is ignorant. Do you realise that maplers complain before every single class that`s coming out.. that they`re overpowered and so on.. like pirates. In the end, dual blader will become a simple maple class with it`s flaws and pros. Whether you want to stay with your cb or not is up to you now. |

| This has been said about Pirates, cygnus knights and aran. But the fact remains the same, only those who stay loyal to the class will become dual blades,80% may make a dual wielder but less then 5% will stick with it.New things are for people to keep interest, the original adventurers is what holds maple together, knowing this people that have spent 1-4+ years on their adventurer will continue to play it instead of throwing their years away. |

| Now I'm really confused about dual blade. Now it's only available to be made for a few months? So they are temporary adventurers? What the Heck? as for you TS I've seen most of your shadower videos and after seeing them I can't believe shadowers can become obsolete. Needless to say your videos are amazing and you show the potential of a shadower. Regardless the DB will come the hype will die and then a few months later creation of DB will be gone. I think maple will be fine as far as DB is concerned. shadowers and other sure classes that are underused might be considered rare, But at least we don't have the potential to die like DB. But now I'm really curious as to what the Thief legend will be. Now I fear it will be a NL carbon copy. PS you should make a new vid soon I would like to see that. |

|
CowSockie : hey, remember the pirates? The Arans? How bout CK? They entirely explode when they're first released and then are reduced to averages like the rest of the maple population. When people find that its for them, or not for them, you'll see it start to balance out. All they're doing is providing us with new and different jobs to play with. I'm happy about it, I want to try them. Especially when the gears started turning looking at some of the shadower shields, i thought "Wow, how cool would it be if the shadower could do double blades?" and now they have dual bladers. :'D
^^^ THAT! |

| Dual Bladers are over-powered, that much I can agree on, but I hardly think they will destroy the game like you've suggested. It's really hard to judge how broken a class will be by damage alone. Damage and funding varies quite a bit between players. In fact, two players of the same class and level can an ocean apart from each other in terms of DPM. This is especially true with classes like the nightlord which can gain considerable boosts in overall damage from minor improvements in weapon attack. When I suggest they are overpowered my attention is on their combination of superb mobility and incredible mobbing ability. They can easily flash jump + fly assaulter + blood dance their way across the map without leaving a single monster alive in their wake. IMO their training speed will far outstrip that of any non magician class. I guess my biggest gripe with the dual blader class is their lack of originality. They come off as a nightlord/shadower fusion with a little bowmaster thrown in for lulz. I just think Nexon Korea needs to sit back and brainstorm some better ideas. They've pretty much lost any consistency they've had with new job class releases by unveiling something that's considered an adventurer but possesses abilities surpassing legends. Not to mention the dual blader completely blows the current thieves out of the water in terms of visual appeal. |

| In those vids that db is pwning everything in 1 hit at lvl 140 I think that's kinda rediculous...I still find my shad much easier to train than my drk and I don't plan to quit my shad for a bd....I'm kinda mad about the skills that db got cause I feel that the shadower was entitled to a crit buff...but w.e I still got masses avoid and a skill that can hit dmg cap when maxed...I'm am also a fan of your vids I enjoy watching a shad with skills pwn a boss or clear a map of monsters |

| Everyone will still have their preferences. When you think about it, after you hit your satisfying threshold level there's not much to do in MapleStory. I plan to stop my Aran at 70, purely for the Ring. I'll probably make an Evan between 50~120; depends on how much I enjoy the character. Dual Blades... they're strong and flashy, but all their skills are generic. I'd probably make it for the flying around and damage, but all-in-all I'll settle back onto my Shadower when I'm done. People have preferences, and will go back to what they like best; pushing the "godly" stuff into the "tool" positions, only bringing them out when necessary. |
