Nexon is honestly a huge failure

This new changing password thing is a HUGE PROBLEM. Most of the Maplestory community provided false information (including birthdays, and new e-mails) in order to create accounts. A lot of these people do not hack, scam, or cause problems for the Maplestory community and its because of the select few people who want to ruin other peoples fun, that we are most likely losing our accounts. I just sent a ticket to Nexon, but it does not matter. Knowing Nexon it will be weeks to months, maybe even years before I can get a e-mail reset. On top of that Nexon in order to "protect us" and "provide us" with better "security" is going to question us about information we no longer have access too. Anyone else feel the same way? Feel free to flame me if you want. It's not like I am the only one with this problem. I for one buy NX occasionally (usually 50-60k worth) so Nexon will be losing that if they do not allow me to get a e-mail change.

Its not the companies fault. Nexon / Wizet... every gaming company for that matter, always say use legit information. If you're not old enough to play, don't play? Buying/trading/giving away accounts is illegal too. I'm not trying to be mean, or to be a stickler, I'm just trying to be honest.

Not a huge fail. You try and do it. New changes come to new problems, however for the better. I say that people that are ignorant on CREATING GAMES should "butt-out"...

You used false information, suck it up, YOU screwed up, not them. People have got to stop blaming Nexon for their mistakes

You don't need the email. It automatically changes it anyway, I didn't even get my email and I can get into ms.

[/quote] Maybe you should have just used real information then for you account. Or at least write it down when you make it up. And $50-60 "occasionally" is not that much to a company that makes hundreds of millions a year.

(50-60) x (# of people who have the same problem, and purchase NX)= a lot more then 50-60 my friend

You don't need your e-mail right now.. I just changed my password, and it said that it has been sent to my e-mail for verification. I received nothing in the e-mail, and my password got changed. But people that are NOT SURE about emails, should not change passwords because of this o.O I don't wana get blamed for
