% of chance of droping chaos

Hey everyone... i am writing to see if anyone of you guys know the % of chance of the drop of a chaos scroll. i know its pretty low, but is there any way to know the exactly number? Ty Basil

If you don't get one from one monster, and you kill another one, the percent is not 0.02%. It is still 0.01% for that monster.

w8 pan lid are suposed to be rare? i got 6 back when i was really a noob (the sort that adds int to a warrior) id rather have choas scrolls though D: edit: the way drops work is the killed monster sends a ticket to the server and X drops are droped (mesos and ect drops have a higher chance), its like the lottory for rare items. you cant figure out the percent because its 1/X # of chances when X is unknown.

Like 4 platforms of huge spawn. I was just farming for artifact points which is why I was in Cave of Mushroom outside of sleeypwood in ant tunnel II. In fact, that place is rubbish because there is also a lot of horny mushrooms mixed and they DON'T drop chaos... lol. So ya go Cold Eyes if you can. I've thought about 4x on bosses... even on 2x you notice a lot more 60% scroll drops =p got like 3 dagger for atks and gun for atks on Manon this morning xDD on 4x would be really nice... Oh and another cool thing with 2x and 4x drops is you're pretty much guranteed to find 5 monster cards (max out the book on that monster) in less than an hour if you're training on a decent mob of that monster. I'm gonna go for the awesome ludi monster medal later today XD but I think I need a pap monster card lawl... gonna be a bit difficult getting that one xD

On 4x, that would bump up to .04% of course. If you're training for a long period of time, on a lot of monsters, its a nice bump in chance.

I have been massacring drum bunnies for a total of 10 hours on 2x drop, of which 2 and a half hour I also had drum bunny card effect, and I have also done 1 hour of cold eye massacring with 2x and guess what? I got 10 DC ores, and some worthless equips. I hate you

this thread is really pointless. it all comes down to luck and nothing more. just because someone may post a number of what they think the droprate is doesn't mean that it will drop at that rate. i was using 2x drop while doing the artifact hunt and i got two chaos scrolls AFTER the 2x drop ran out. you could use 1 million times drop and still not get a chaos scroll. there are items that have a higher chance of dropping than a chaos scroll and i have yet to see any of them. besides, things come when you least expect them not when you crave them like a mad horse.
