Opinions on the language filter in Maple Story

What is your opinion on the filter? I think it's great, no foul language! I really hate curse words........If I had it my way a** should be banned to. Nexon may get many more customers this way. Discuss!

i use foul language all the time so the filter is really annoying and it ruins all the fun... what i hate most about the filter is how sometimes it censors WHEN I DIDNT EVEN SWEAR.. i HATE when that happens.. and u'd never know cus it doesnt tell u that you are using foul language like it used to about a year ago i HATE filters and censorship -.-

I think the filter is bogus. It messes up your sentences when your talking to somome because you say 2 words that the end one and the beggining of the other spell a "bad word". I want my freedom of speech so I should be able to curse however much I like. I love swearing. And 1st post wasn't trying to be funny. He was showing exactly what I'm talking about. The bold is a bad word inside 1-2 normal words.

I think its alright. At least its way better than the first filter, where if you accidnetly made a swear it would make you retype your whole mesg w/o telling you what it was >_>. Although, people can be very creative.

It thinks we are swearing when we really arent, and people dont understand sentences. Even "whisper me" gets censored "whi**** *e" because of "sper m" and its really annoying.

We can block the bad words, just nexon needs a better filter. I seriously hate it.

You could be telling your friend about what you did last night. It's not like your going to tell em "I had entercorse last night." no you'll use the f word most likely. And also what if your talking about the back seat of a motorcycle. It's called the bych seat.
