Stimulaters now ignore Black and dark crystals! I tested this with a crossbow I was making for a friend, and I used these gems 1 x intermediate diamond + 2 w.att 1 x basic Black crystal + 0 , 1 w.att if you used a stimulater And the minimum w.att for a gold neschere is 98 w.att, 3 jump. The outcome however was 99 w.att, instead of it being 100 w.att since the intermediate diamond adds 2+ w.att, and the stimulater cuts off any chance of below average stats. Thus the stim ignored the black crystal and it lowered the w.att by -1.

Black Crystal can make any change to certain stats on an item that you make within a certain range. EDIT: Do Stimulators really cut off the chance of making an item have lower than average stats?

The Black Crystal reduced the amount of weapon attack you gained. You got a +2 weapon attack from the Diamond, but got a -1 weapon attack from the Black Crystal. Remember, the Black Crystal is like a Chaos Scroll: It can make an item better or worse. Black Crystal.

dark are supposed to increase or decrease like chaos when comes to watk/matk black do the same but to str/dex/int/luk sorry if im miss understanding you im a bit tired xD.

[/quote] You do know that stimulators just keep your created items from being below average, stat-wise. It doesn't say anything about preventing negative effects due to jewels you add on. I'd also like to see evidence saying that stimulators prevent jewels from having negative effects, if such evidence exists.

There would be little point in having the "chaos scroll" type effect of the dark/black crystals if simply by using a stimulator you could eliminate the possiblity of any negative effect. You use a "chaos" gem, you takes your chances on getting a -stat, stimulator or no stimulator. BTW- there's NO way to "prove" anything like this one way or the other unless you do it THOUSANDS of times and plot the data points. Just going on the basis of one or two attempts is like flipping a coin and saying since it landed heads twice in a row that it will ALWAYS land heads.

It is not a glitch. Stimulator prevents your xbow to be created under 98 attack, but the gem's effect takes place AFTER stimulator. So your xbow could have: 98 attack clean after stimulator -> 100 attack clean after Diamond --> 99 attack clean after Black Crystal. And when I made my Reverse Alchupiz 5 months ago, my spear was expected 115 attack clean, but 113 attack instead because of Intermediate Black Crystal.

It is ignorant to claim any proof on Stimulator cancelling the negativity effects from Black/Dark Crystals because it NEVER did, never does and never will .
