| Im lvl 83 (high dex (dont ask why)) and i wanted a taru cape ever since i hit 80 and i still want one but i dont got enough money now (i did at lvl 80 spent on stuff) and im wondering how much people accualy have a taru cape because it seems VERY hard to get your hands on it and every time i see someone with it There not selling. -How much is my pac worth 2att 8str 0slots -How much are my shoes worth 7str, 1dex, 5acc, 5slots (yes that is not a mistake and clean is 5str, 1dex, DEF) I wanna trade them for almost any stat taru |

 | If you're poor, don't even think about getting a Taru Cape till you can start bossing efficiently. Taru Cape should be one of your later priorities next to weapon, and glove. You'll be getting more attack-per point investing in an end-game weapon (or at least one that'll last you till Reverse) than getting a Taru Cape now. |

| Taru Capes are relatively cheap compared to the same stat PACs. I bought my 3/10 Taru for like 120mil, and there was a few 3/12s for 150mil in FM a few weeks ago. Your cape is worth about 80mil? The shoes are easily 30mil and upwards seeing as they have 7 STR, 5 ACC clean. |

| the thing is about primary gear -im an axe sader axes=cheap i got a 121 colonian (lvl 90 axe).that will probobly last till 120. Also i use the maker skill like crazy so by lvl 115 i would probobly have my reverse or i might have baught one. so weapon is out of the picture -gloves i got an 8att 4str 2dex dark emporor and i really dont care much about gloves cuz onetime i tryed a 10 att glove rather than my old 6att and the differance in att was unnoticeable -got a z-helm -9str 6acc clean overall and i want the Taru cuz it also looks cool BTW Taru capes have ATT +2, STR +5, Avoid +10, 5 Slots |

| Okay one thing you are forgetting: Speed. What's your speed? Based upon the limited knowledge of your equips, I would guess its not anywhere near 140%. I don't know why you would bother trying to get a Taru when you could spend 10mil on a nice IC2. Practicality>Looks. If you really want to look all fancy, get some NX, buy some CS clothes. Although, in all honesty, armor>CS clothes. |

| my mistake on the 2 att -another thing im not a very good scroller so if i tryed to scroll a ic2 i would probobly fail BADLY -my big question is whats the point of speed? sure itll get u to the monster faster but cant you get on ur hog move then get of and pg thats what i do all the time or i got some speed equips when i cant ride my hog like 16 speed whip 3speed shield (maker) ~8speed shoes 10 speed overall -and i would spend time getting a taru cuz i can and it has 3 att and 5 str clean and what a icarus gots 10 speed BIG WHOP |

| You're only level 83... Why would you need an attack cape? It's not like you can do any major bossing in that level range (let alone until fourth job). I would say to put all your focus on getting a scrolled Icarus Cape (2) and then worry about getting a Taru Spirit Cape. Edit: Riding a mount cancels out Powerguard and it also delays your attacks. Believe me, it's nowhere near as effective as a speed set. |
