Why do maplers LOVE to follow the bandwagon?

So. Why? One example is that when CK came out. And they said NW's were pretty strong. So everyone made one. Maple was full of NWs. Then, the NW job died out when Aran came out. A lot of maplers became an Aran and even rude ones(who MAYBE used to be dexless rude nightwalkers) made one too. Then they KSed other maplers. Why change jobs everytime something strong comes out? I've been a bandit for 4 years and counting. And till today, no matter how much people say that shads, dits, CBs are weak, I still love the job. I don't blame some people for trying the job out though. Since I tried the jobs too. But I still didn't like it. If you made a job because it suits your likes, then that's okay. That's not bandwagoning.. FYI, I'm not generalizing. I didnt mean all Arans/NWs. Only some kids who are damage hoars.

They are insecure and uneducated fools. Listening to everything other people say, not thinking for their selves. Or they just want to try something new.

I have over 15 chars (only few 3rd job+) and i like to play other classes every once in a while. Don't you get bored of the same routine of grinding and grinding and grinding in same maps on same monsters? I take a break from my main and play some low-lvl character ^^ Bandwagoning actually means you make a character because everyone and their mom is going to/has made one. If you're actually looking forward to make a new character because YOU want to, that's not bandwagoning. @above, i made my CK for blessing too, but nexon made CK obsolete now, so i wish i had rather made a sin instead >< With Aran, however, I really had fun till 8x, then I started to train at gallo's and realized how plain and boring they are to me :P Then i returned to my CB.

=) read the thread end again.. I already said I don't blame some people for trying it out. The ring thing is a good point.. What I really meant was.. Why not people choose jobs depending on what they like? For example, you want to become harry potter. You chose magician. You love lightning, so you choose I/L path. Easy as that.. 0.o EDIT: good point chippie. I too take breaks.. But I guess you get what I mean right? The younger kids who think, ooh wow, Arans are the new NWs! Let's make one and KS people and boss people around for the lulz!

Just because they make a new job doesn't mean they are bandwagoning. I have both an aran and a nw but I also have a sniper. I make a job because they look fun to me, not because everyone else plays one or because it's strong. I really could care less how strong it is or how many people play it.

Because that's how it is. Chickens stay together in a flock, no one chicken leaves the flock to go do something else. Everybody thinks 9/11 is terrorists fault and they are following the bandwagon whether it's true or not, which I know it isn't.
