i want to give a late valentine's gift (origami) to a girl her friend is helping me to make it. (she knows about our relationship - a year ago it crashed, but i'm deciding to take another chance cuz i feel something new this time) you think it's a good idea? its her idea btw EDIT: so okay, her friend suggested the idea - she knows about us i'm trying to get back to the girl i like again, this time, i'm using a new approach we've been friends since grade 6 (grade 8 now), and midgrade 7 was the time i crashed right now a year passed, so hopefully i will stand a chance if you need more info, just say so on this thread thanks for the responses EDIT 2: we're both the same race (and same last name - funny) this is not a troll...we're not related by blood or anything uhh, i asked out her to a dance few days ago, she rejected me so on msn, i offline message her, "you must feel strange about me asking u to the dance...[my friends] wanted me to do so anyways" <she doesn't know i like her (again) ever since the crash, so i played with stealth so she wouldn't think I was crazy about her> when she replied, she said, "well no, i would say yes if dances weren't [insert bad things about dances]" feeling surprised, i assured her message by offline messaging her, trying to cover my emotion guess what? the next day she replied, she said no i'm confused on this part, but still not giving up yet

So what was your new approach? Um, don't sweat over any valentines day gifts, you need to slow down! Steps are: Approach > Attraction > Comfort > Relationship. Your stealth idea is good, but that means not showing that you like her =/gifts. Find an appropriate time and ask her a simple question, if it is appropriate you can build a conversation out of it. (repeat 1-3X) Then work on spending alone time with her (like at a library or something). [This doesnt have to be in the same day, take it slow pal]. edit: What do you mean by "she knows about our relationship"? You keep saying that you "crashed" meaning that you failed, so what relationship? If you guys are not dating, then its not worth your effort making a gift for her.
