Whats the point of Kerning Square Mall?

Title says it all, I really don't get it, I went there and there was nothing to do.

Kerning Square is for lvl35-50. Neo city is the other one for the 3rdjob range.

Its a chain quest that starts at 35 thats suppose to follow Mushroom Kingdom chain quest, since you finish mushroom kingdom quest by 35.
