High school Acceptance Letter

Okay, so I just got my high school letter in the mail. Now I'm contemplating whether or not to open it :[ Yes, I'm scared. The answer in the letter will "partly" decide my future. Do you guys think I can get in to my number 1 high school? I live in Chicago and its Northside. I think I did pretty good on my test but I kinda fricked up my ISAT's :[ But last year, I had straight A's. Is there any hope for me? D:

lol i honestly dont believe that any high school can be "OH so much more pro" then other high schools, they should more or less have the same stuff taught to you in the same classes, graduation requirements might be harder at some, but needing to get an acceptance letter as if it were a college is ridiculous.

I got accepted to my high school with a scholarship (Catholic School) I got 4000 out of 8000$ Scholarship! ;D Just let someone else open it then you look at it , that's what I did. Best of luck to you [;

these threads baffle me whenever I see them outside of Basil, I've never heard of anyone trying to get accepted into a high school. the idea is totally alien to me; it seems pointless to be honest

It was out of district, so she just had to write a letter. 90% chance of acceptance. Anyway, when she got the phone call during class, she screamed because she couldn't believe.
