Who's Fault Is This?

READ THIS FIRST: I failed to state that there was only powder in his bag, no donuts whatsoever. Okay, so my friends and I go down to Holland Park for an Olympics Celebration thing. And we buy mini donuts. We all finish ours except for one of my friends. What I do, as a little prank, is when he is stuffing his face with the powder, I push his hand, a little goes ON to his nose. He freaks out, swings the bag at me and all the powder and sugar comes out. My other friend tells him that he just wasted so much powder. So my friend is chasing me now, we all thought the same thing; that he was joking. We were wrong. He catches me, grabs my hood, and yanks. I get pulled. He then tries to shove the bag in my face. After knowing he was actually angry, I put him in a headlock, telling him to calm down. After I thought he calmed down, he swings a punch at me. I decide to start running away because I don't want to start anything. As I am running, I pass someone with arm braces. Two seconds later, he comes running at me at full speed. I check behind my self and the guy in the arm braces is on the ground. My friends are helping him up. Now, he's caught up to me, swings a fist with an empty donut bag in it, right at my face, really hard. I ducked, grabbed the bag and shoed it into his face, once again, telling him to calm down. Not listening, he gets a part of the bag, and shoves it into my mouth. This is where I put him into another headlock, telling him to calm the f**k down. All of a sudden he's swinging punches and kicks saying he's calm. Like I should believe that. I keep him in the headlock, and he gets me right on the nose. So I just throw him onto the ground. Now he just gets up, and says that he is going home. After this, I am feeling really pissed off at him, and myself for letting that happen. But while I didn't do anything but try to calm me down, he's pushed over a person who had arm braces, and punched me in the face. Also, note that everybody else thought everything was good until he swung at me. Now Basil, can you tell me who's fault this is? Is it mine for being playful? Or is it his for overreacting, and trying to beat me up? EDIT!: At people saying it was my fault for being an ass to him, I'm not. In fact, he can be a really big one at times. He knows I am a joker, he knows all these things. But he always makes fun of one of my friends. He never says sorry, and I mean this literally. It's just been lately. He just started acting really spoiled, like he owns everything. He always does what he wants. If we want to do something, and he wants to do something else, he goes home. So don't be commenting and be saying I am an ass, because I am actually a pretty chill guy. I don't freak out and I don't like getting into fights. Hence, why I didn't throw a single punch or kick. I just restrained him before he hurt me or anyone around us. Another EDIT!: I sent him a message on Facebook, an apology, but I also told him to realize what he did. This is exact

Your fault. He probably had a rough day or a rough week. Once you knew he was serious, it was a pretty dumb thing to say calm the f*** down . How old are you? 7? Next time swallow your pride and apologize. Clean and simple. Don't make the problem bigger than it actually is.

[/quote] Honestly, when someone is running at you and trying to bust your face in, it is pretty hard to apologize without actually getting your face beaten in. And how was he supposed to know if he had a rough week? They were all acting normal, and he suddenly freaked out - totally not his fault.

I kept telling him to calm down, but he kept hitting me WHILE screaming he was calm, when he obviously not. Even when I was swearing, I did not yell.

I had to hold myself in from doing that. We were all having fun, the bags were empty, just had powder in it. I get a teeny bit, like 1/100 of a sugar cube, thats how much I got on his face, and he tries to fight me.

Firstly, raging cause you got some powder on your face is not acting immature, like a seven year old? If you got punched a few times, what would you say? "Calm down please?" i would say it's not your fault...pranks happen to everyone. a lil bit of powder on someones nose is not that big of a deal. you wipe it off and laugh and its over. (i actually did what u did to sum1 once...except it was a bagel with cream cheese 0.o... the kid also overreacted and tried to attack me) soo i kinda know where u stand in this and i believe its not ur fault. pranks happen to me too but i dnt go charging at people trying to beat them up.
