Can you guys tell me if this letter has any errors? Including accent marks etc... Thank you SO MUCH! Para mam�, Te amo,madre, porque t� eres simp�tica, honesta, y generosa. Te voy a comprar chocolates, flores, y mucho m�s. Usted vas a tener una fiesta. Vas a recibir muchos regalos. Voy a invitar muchos amigos y parientes. Muchas personas van a ir. Te voy a comprar una falda y una blusa. Voy a escribir una carta para ti y hacer algunos arte fant�stico para ti. Voy a hacer un regalo para usted tambi�n. Sin usted voy a llorar. Sin usted voy a estar triste. Usted es la mejor madre y te amo mucho. Amor, David Note: I used a lot of " I am going to". Is there any way I could freshen things up a bit. Thanks for your help guys! EDIT: Only in Spanish 1, so I cant really be flexible with the verb conjugations. Sorry.

EDIT: 'I am going to' in spanish in every sentence looks weird, also in english writting "You..." then the rest is completely normal, but in spanish starting a sentence with "T�.." or "Usted.." is somewhat weird. Its better if you just use future verbs, than "You are going to.." in spanish. Sin usted llorar�a > Sin usted voy a llorar. and some others I edited xD

[/quote] That is a good translation, but you deffinately changed the whole concept of the letter. I didn't change it because he said he needed like 10 sentences in the letter. And yeah you are basically missing ALL the accents.

[/quote] Sorry, Im only in spanish 1 and my teacher has a stupid restriction on 10 sentences minimum. Plus, her instructions on what to write are very child-like and un-flexible.

It sounds natural and sincere. "...hacerte un dibujo" sounds much better than "arte fantastico". However, "tal y como dice la cancion"..�Cual cancion? he never mentioned any song, so that part maybe should be taken out. And trust me, I am latina.
