When do you cap STR? Str gear?

I'm not super funded but i can make money if i go get some nx and merch. Right now my bowman is lvl 30 with 31 Str, btw i have no idea why it's at 31 i mean honestly i have a 2 str necklace and lilins ring and i could have sworn i only left it at 27. Anyways i met this warrior who told me all his Dex came from his equip, he had like 95 dex from equip alone total, and i was wondering if the same applies to bowmen but to STR. So what gear should i get to max my damage?

Dex increases damage not strength. for dex gear u could get 10 dex sauna, dex earrings, dex pac, dex shoes Strength lets u wear equips. Otherwise, str is useless cuz dex gives accuracy. u can get str sauna, str pac

To maximize your damage, you'll want both types of equips. Sometimes Str will be cheaper, sometimes Dex will be cheaper, and sometimes they'll come together at one bundle price.

for bowmen str is capped around 70-90 for that warrior his dex equips were for the accuacy for (x)bowmen the str is to equip the bow mine is 80 and 123 after equips so 2 more for a reverse. focus on your target final weapon and flex you stats/equips around that

i agree with spirit. you'd want both stats to be balanced cap your STR around 60-80 and you'll be fine. overalls, shoes, capes and zakum/scarlion helmets are good source of STR, and, since our armors don't require STR, you can upgrade to a better one ASAP. Maker has come to our help as well, with basic/inter crystals you could even make a 2-3 STR over avg armor, which, in the long run, will greatly help

Dex is a lot easier and cheaper to gear up for than Str. 100% Dex overall scrolls are sold for 35k each from an npc while 100% Str overall scrolls come from skele drops but are still worth a few mil; 60% scrolls vary even larger in price. Also, Hats, earrings, and shoes do not have Str scrolls but do have Dex. If you were new, I would have recommended to go Str-less until you were about 80 or 90 so you can make it easier to plan when to cap your Str.
