Gym in Highschool

I'm starting highschool next year and I'm sorta bothered by what to do when I go to gym. I`m Muslim so we're not supposed to show most of our skin. Only the face, hands, and feet. I'm sorta afraid the school will say that I can't skip gym or change somewhere else because of my religion. So what the hell do I do next year? Plus I don't want to be in the same room as a bunch of naked people since I'm really embarrassed when it comes to those things. Edit: For the mean people no I'm not hairy. I'm just following my religion.

You probably won't be the only muslim there :] in my old school there were a few who had to cover their skin during physed. Don't worry too much about it - I'm sure that your teachers will understand.

All school have to respect the students religions and beliefs. If there isn't a way for you to circumvent your problems, you can opt out and they can't really do anything. At most you'd probably need your parents to write a letter of explanation, but that would only be reasonable if the teacher in charge is too ignorant to realise that you're Muslim.

I'm not saying the normal gym uniforms slutty but you get my point. And don't even argue. People have the right to practice whatever religion they want.
