Sealed items and 50% scrolls

I just picked up a white scroll to make an attempt at landing another 50 on my spear, and have come across a new situation. Due to the hackers, I've locked all my best gear - spear included - so that if I got hacked they couldn't drop it all. I've never had an issue before, but now when I try to white scroll+50% spear attack my spear, it gives me the message "Due to the potency of the scroll, sealed item may be destroyed". Does anyone know what this is about? 50%'s don't generally have an explosion chance, unless that was changed since the last one I used. I'm assuming this is the result of the item seal, so does anyone know what exactly that's about?

50%s cant blow up an item, its just a message that comes up when using any scroll. Acts like a Disclaimer so people dont shout at nexon if their locked item poofs

Is that still a concern? I know there used to be some sort of glitch with sealed items where the timer moved from the seal to the item itself.. is that still active? My spear is kind of what I define my character by, so I don't want to risk losing it.

Nah, I locked my first ele 5 wand back then and when I scrolled it even 60% scrolls said the same thing. 50% scrolls do NOT explode items ever though.

scroll it, it was just a bogus warning cause you locked it

Its so that when your item gos pooooof nexon cant be held responsible for it :3 so im assumin this means tha old item glitch is back =__= where when the lock dissapears your items start to have a time limit :X

I don't think item locks even matter anymore because hackers can delete your characters if they have your PIC.

Only a malicious hacker would delete your character. Most are in it for the monetary reward, and you can't sell locked items until the lock expires, so such items are effectively worthless to most hackers.
