PIC system isn't safe! HELP

Well here is the story about a very smart hacker/scamer, who almost have my account I'm just hanging around when a random person chats me. He tells me that he's one of my friends, and want me to guess who. Well so I guessed one, and he said "WOW pro you guessed right etc.". And I still don't understand....Then he told me that his friend quited, and the friend gave him the account with 500mill on. He needs my help to transfer the money, and he will give me 200 mill of the money because he only need 300 mill...Im like WOWOW trust me!trust me! Then he gives me his ID and PW so I can logg on the account and give his original account the money. But he didn't give me the PIC because he told me that he didn't trust me enough, and wanted my ID and PW first, to be sure I wouldn't scam him. Then I say: Ok this is the deal. I check if the ID/PW match, then I'll give you MY ID/PW. Ok so then I logg on his account and everything seems right...THEN JUST FOR FUN I TRY TO LOGG ON WITH 111111 PIC, AND IT WORKS! Ok, im on his lvl 100 hermit and he have nothing of value on the account, nor on the storagekeeper. I logg back on my own character and say: Me: hey you don't have the money! HIM: Yea, I have on storagekeeper Me: No you don't I figured out your PIC, nothing in storage Him: No I have on another char, so no one like you can hack me! Me: So show me the money. He loggs on another character and shows me 500mill. BUT I know that this character isn't on the same account as the lvl 100 hermit! I say he's scammer etc, and he leaves me/defame. But now it got really scary... Im like YAY I have his ID/PW/PIC and he have nothing! I logg on his account again and in a moment of evilnes I dropp all his scrolls, and logg on my account again to pick them up. THEN...When I try to logg on, it tells me that the PIC doesn't match! At this moment I got really afraid...I logg on the website, and resets my PIC. Then I logg on, make a new PIC and YAY! Im on. (The scrolls were gone because of the delay) Well I have never given out my info to anything or anyone, but he still changed my PIC, and can probably do it again. S now im really afraid of logging of What should I do? Sorry for bad spelling I wrote this in hurry! EDIT: NO, I didn't enter the wrong PIC...I tried 4 times! EDIT2: Sorry if I didn't say this clear enough in the tread, but I did never, ever give out any info about the account. BTW...It's not sure that he changed my PIC. I've got several PMs from people how typed the right PIC many times, but still don't get in. Then they try on last time, and it works...Well see

i think the PIC thing is a fail, all the hacker/scammer needs is just your PW and ID now.

reset your pword... here is how. open up a word doc. and lightly mash your palm into the keyboard. write down the first six letters. Then replace some of the letters with caps and then add two numbers somewhere in that. Supersafe pword

He might be trolling though what are the chances of guessing a pic? Also maybe his account is a key logger or somthing. Never heard of it b4 though.

Well... I think you accidentally typed your pic in incorrectly before you changed it (because my pic said the same thing two times in a row before I got it correct on the third time, and I swore I was doing it correctly on the 1st 2 times), and it was just the god(s) of whatever religion you follow punishment for dropping the scrolls that you couldn't get in. *whoo* That took up a lot of (virtual) breath to write/say.

[/quote] Unless you made your PIC something very easy or are dumb and tell someone, then I think PIC's are safer. With the PIC's, it can be longer then 4 letters, which means it takes A LOT more to guess, and you can use capital and lower-case letters which makes the amount of combinations basically unlimited.

Wow I bet you just accidentally put in the wrong PIC and got all paranoid thinking he changed it. EDIT: @Royex Even with a keylogger a hacker would not be able to guess the PIC because you don't type it in, you press the buttons to put your PIC in. I think it is safe because if you put in a good PIC, it would have unlimited combinations. Even if you make it just letters, every space has about 3 letters inside to guess from.
