So I told my mom I don't love our family

My mom said I should hang out with my family more then I do and I told her that I don't love the family... which I were to regret a second later. I know my mom's sensitive and even a none-sensitive person would get offended by those words... The thing is I wasn't lying or anything like that, I really don't like my family. What should I do now >_> my mom's prob gonna get sad and I don't want that to happen. For everyone who wonder and didn't bother to read the comments, I did apologize yet obviously it barely helped.. And yes I don't like my family and I still care about them.

Say you had a bad day, got caught up in the moment, and just had to vent at someone. Which was hopefully the case. And do hang out with your family more. Lots of people don't realize how important family is. They get all hyped up about leaving home for college, about being independent and starting a new part of their life. They don't realize you can't start a new chapter without finishing the old one. You're probably just nearing that age where you go out into the world on your own and never go back to visit your family except during Christmas, and your mom wants you to spend some quality time with the family before that happens. You gotta realize there isn't much time. It'll pass by quicker than you think.
