| Anyone who does speed cubing or is somewhat fast, care to give any tips/ algorithms to finish it faster? I'm using the beginner method and I average around 2:15 right now. |

| What I do to make the second layer faster is not to put a corner from the first layer, then you can use this corner to fix almost all the blocks from the middle layer except the last one, then you put your last corner of the first layer and use the beginner algorithm to put the last block from the middle layer, u can cut like 40 seconds just with that. |
If you're talking about videos, they start with an already finished rubiks cube with their blindfold on. They start from the already finished rubiks cube and randomly move it in different directions. Then, when the video is played backwards, it looks like they finished it with a blindfold on. |

| My friend used to be able to solve it in like 24 seconds or something. He used the Hedrick's method or something like that, it started with an H I don't really remember the name though. Also use your fingers to turn the different layers of the cub instead of holding the cube in your palms. |
How bout videos where people actually do solve it blindfolded? OT: Lubricate it by putting vaseline in it. And take some time to familiarize yourself with more algorithms. And can you tell me which beginners method you're doing? Solving the first 2 layers and then solving the top then finishing it off by solving the third layer? Or are you solving it by solving the the first 2 layers then orienting the 3rd layer middle pieces then solving the top and 3rd layer altogether? Sorry if its a bit confusing but I think you'll get it. |
