1H or 2H sword?

So I just made a dawn warrior and I was wondering if I should use a one hand sword and shield or a two hand sword? I have about 1.3mil funding so what would be most beneficial for training and just having fun. Also can you use the 2nd job move, soul blade(I think that's what it's called), with a one hands sword?

i think 1hd mostly red katana because my 90 att red katana out dmged my 135 claymore by 10-5min at pap =/

with 1.3m i think you should stick with 2h swords, seeing how a sword+shield combo is out of your funding range.

on my dw i used 1 handed as much as i could, i had very little funding but it still worked fine for me, just do the quest from blackbull in perion, he either gives steel shield or red triangular shield, and just use that one

One handed Sword Max damage: [(STR * 4.0 + DEX) / 100] * Weapon Attack One handed Sword Min damage: (STR * 0.9 * 4.0 * Skill Mastery + DEX) / 100 * Weapon Attack Two handed Sword Max damage: [(STR * 4.6 + DEX) / 100] * Weapon Attack Two handed Sword Min damage: (STR * 0.9 * 4.6 * Skill Mastery + DEX) / 100 * Weapon Attack Find out for yourself... Just plug in the numbers. Don't forget to take attack speed into consideration.

On my Dawn Warrior, I used 2H swords (Lionheart and Japanese Map, both Fast(4) 2H swords) all the way until level 70. At 70, I switched to a 99 attack Red Katana without an attack shield. I found the sheer attack speed on its own made it outperform a similar attack normal (6) 2H sword.

For the TS: Try this setup. These are the best weapons I can remember for their level ranges.
