As having 50 base dex for a Aran I decided not to join the bandwagon of 20 dex and dexless, because to be honest I never was a damage hoar. I'm well funded but I didn't want to be dexless for the sake of having to worry about the specific equipment. I play maplestory for fun and I really have no goal level but I do want to make it to atleast the 150's. Though I still think, is 50 dex bad, I mean is the damage difference really that big. I'm not a damage hoar to care if i lose like 2k dmg, but will I lose dmg as far as 10k - 15k? :

No. I'm a 80 DEX base Aran, and my damage is fine.

you will lose next to nothing in damage, especially at a far higher level. But really 30-40 dex is managable without having to buy anything too cost in-efficient or silly.

I hear once I get a horntail necklace I would be fine, plus I think a str PAC could help me out.

No there isent that much of a dmg reduction also instead of the expensive dex equips you might as well buy some str equips because of your 50 base dex. For example my Aran is also 50 base dex but be has as much str with equips as a 20-30 base dex would have

No, You can easily replace the 46 dex (or so) with str equips in stead. Instead of getting a Dex overall, Get a STR. Str cape etc..

one thing I don't get is...why do reg dex arans think dexless arans HAS to get dex equips? I got 3/10 str pac and going to get 20 str top... yet my acc isn't affected at all
