Why do you swear?

I mean, I don't swear since I'm more pacifistic than aggressive, but pretty much any teen (except for a select few) swears regularly nowadays, not just a swear word here and there. So tell me, why do you swear? Does it go against any morals you have?

I swear just so I can express how mad I am. Sometimes I do it for jokes. But when it comes to racist slurs...I don't ever say those.

Easier to relief pain, stress, whats on your mind. Fml compared to my life sucks. FML sounds more aggressive and stern.

Swearing is my way to insult my computer when its pissing me off. I mostly only swear in my mind though...

Well now it's just out of habit. I use swears as sentence fillers like people use 'um' 'like' 'stuff' etc. It helps show more emotion too. Oh and because swears are so versatile. Almost every swear can be used as a noun, verb, adjective and so on.

I rarely swear.. if I do, it's usually in my head. I hate those people that cuss in every sentence..

I really don't swear often and i don't like people that swear.. but in some situations i guess it's understandable, just not preferred

To get my point across better. If I say "Stop." people might find my statement a little too ambiguous. If I throw in the "F word", maybe the "MF word" and the "B word" my meaning is pretty clear. Curse words are like sentence enhancers. The sprinkles on an ice cream cone, frosting on a cake.
