I've decided to make a Paladin, and I'm wondering, what are the pros and cons of a Blunt Weapons verses a Sword? I really like the looks and prices of Blunt-Weapons, but, are they so cheap because they have cons? Or do people just prefer swords for some reason? Also, is it wise to make a Blunt Weapon Paladin? Any help is appreciated.

Well, for paladins, blunt weapons are better because of the mastery at level 30. Swords are somewhat better because of the higher damage. Blunt weapons for paladins can deal high/stable damage. Swords can deal high/low/unstable damage. Correct me if im wrong. I dont know very much about the level 30 mastery for pages.

Alright. So BW's are unstable with higher Maximum damage, and Swords are more stable. Are there anymore differences? I know how with Brandish, Axes are a poor option due to the second strike being a stab. Are there any cons such as that when it comes to being a BW Paladin?

Swords are favored for speed, and stable damage, but blunt-weapons have a wider spread in range in terms of damage, and suffer a slower speed, that's why they're cheaper. I'm typing this on an iPhone, so I'm not going into further detail, I'm sure there are paladin guides that explain the sword/hammer pros and cons.

If you want to do higher max damage, and lower min damage, Blubt Weapon is the way to go, except you'll rarely find a decent speed Blunt Weapon, and a Crushed Skull(I can't remember the name correctly D: ) would be your ideal endgame weapon. Swords do less than Blunts but they have more stable damage, and a higher min. Also sword are a hell of a lot more expensive, however swords are also more readily available because no one really scrolls good BW's anymore. :s

Lets say the damage range is 1~10. Blunt Weps would be at about 4~7, hitting 5 most of the time. Swords would be at 3~8, hitting 7 most of the time. Blunts hit MOSTLY near their min range, not at the half. Swords usually hit at their half.
