What does "Hands" do?

Ok well i had like a 30 mintue argument with my friend about what "Hands" does. I said its for your chance of sucessing a scroll, and he said that it was for getting better drops. Idk if either of them are right but I just wanna know WTF they're for.

Also one of the new dual thief blades require 400+ hands. Go to Spadow's blog for more info.

At first, they had no purpose. Then Maker skill came out. Hands increases the chance for a stimulator to work in the Maker skill.

Ok people are still saying maker/stimulator (which i find dumb knowing hands is older than maker) but the equips on spadows blog a saw made more sense. So im currently taking it as ANOTHER nexon screw up and are finally now put to use.

Also, I recall seeing on spadow's blog some notes on the new Dual Blade weapons, one of the blades had an effect triggered by a certain level of hands.

Hands are actually your weapon attack speed. For example: The job who gets the most hands are archers and sins and then it's mages.
