What's so great about outlaws?

They're main attack is burst fire, which is incredibly similar to all the other range classes (Hermits w/ SP and Strafe). And they snipe at newties for like 30 levels just like the other range classes. The only difference I see is that it's much harder to make one, so people respect them more. Btw, I'm just making this thread because I have a level 53 slinger and I don't have much motivation to be an outlaw [doubt I'll make it to 4th job for corsair]. I'm not saying anything offensive about them, but I just want to know why everyone thinks outlaws are so great. So what's there to look forward too? I saw a 10x Ranger and 10x Outlaw do the same damage at newties. Do they do the same damage with the same funding or do you think the ranger just had more funding? I'm also wondering this about Hermits.

I started off this account unfunded too. Giving my friend my original equips since he got hacked and built my way back up. I hardly play Bera anymore though. Just hoping whenever pirate legend comes out it is a dual gunner [highly doubtful] so I will make use of a 84 maple cannon shooter I acquired tryna buy all the cannon shooters in Bera as well.

Outlaws aren't great. Most of the people I see overhyping them are the 7x Outlaws/Gunslingers that are still overwhelmed by the damage increase from 2nd to 3rd.

[/quote] ^There we go. Same goes for Corsairs to be honest. Not saying Corsairs are a bad class, but they are being overhyped like crazy on basil.

BF has good damage multiplier plenty of skills, elemental and supportive

Gunslinger was really awesome, but outlaw wasn't that great. I really like fire/ice combo tho ^^

I only call out traning monsters I have yet to test it on a snail. I have a 95 infinity wrath if I hit 80 but yet I don't wanna play Bera cuz all the "cool kids" Authentic guild *cries* quit...

The answer is speed. the speed of burst fire is significant compared to lucky seven or strife

freezing helps me kill nest golems at levl 85! :D I dont have a decent level of flamethrower yet so i dont got the combo. And after i get 26 ice splitter im getting my octo maxed! :D
