well, being sexless does give you a higher chance of getting prostate cancer, but you're not a guy so go for it they beat low-sex anyway

everyone says that low dex is stronger after 3rd job i think its because of the maker skill .. to be able to add the +3 att onto the reverse claw is better then sticking with the maple claw/raven

i'd say go lowdex. getting that extra attack from your lampion leveling up if you do equip one and the high attack of clean cravens made with maker skill has made the benefit of being low-dex even better. like before the maker skill came out, i scrolled myself a 62 atk craven which was great, i think i could have sold it for over 100m at the time. then i recently came back, and needed a claw after being hacked, and found a 60 attack craven for 25m.

if you were to be dexless the last claw you would use would be skanda or night raven, and they can only get so high. a 50att skanda is already around 200m, if you spent 200m on a regular claw you could get a 65+ att claw. you can boost alot of dex: zhelm=15+, shoes=5+, cape=6+, sauna robe 10+(or you can do dex bottom and luk top since you are lowdex), dep star +5, earrings=5+, belt=4+ and some other stuff which will add ur dex up to around 80 (25basedex+55dexequips) so all you gotta do is add about 60dex yourself for the red craven (it can be less if your dex equips are super good). 60dex is definitely nothing compared to the possible 15 weapon attack you will get by using a regular claw-that is why people say low dex is the best. when you make your character, be dexless until you are 70 if you have a good lvl 80 claw, 80 if you have a good lvl 90 claw, but usually people stick to being dexless until lvl 90 and start boosting then for the red craven. you will be stronger than a dexless sin starting at this point, you will be even stronger when you get a lampion becuase your weapon attack and luk will continue to increase where a dexless sin will have no change other than luk every lvl. BUT if youre rich as helll you can get those super skandas and be pro dexless =]]]

Go low dex ir your nicely funded(which is like 800mill+) and if you plan on making it to 4th job and higher. If not go dexless. Low dex does out damage dexless in the end because we can get fodly Reverse Lampions.

Before deciding on what base DEX to have, think about the purpose of being Low-DEX: To have more base LUK by using DEX equipment to compensate for the missing DEX needed to wear your desired weapon. In addition, DEX equipment is usually cheaper than LUK equipment, which favours it even more. Anyway, a few easy steps to making a Low-DEX: 0) Consider your budget. You'll need to split your mesos between investing in a good claw, but at the same time, buying enough DEX equipment to fill in all the missing DEX you need to get in order to wear your desired claw. This is where base DEX would come in. 1) Pick a claw type. You want an idea of what claw you're going to be "capping" for, so you know how much base DEX you have and the amount of DEX you will need from equipment. 2) Now consider the amount of DEX equipment. This could come in many forms, whether it be from the zhelm/scarlion hat, the classic sauna robe (or a topwear/bottomwear combo), or even earrings/capes. After you have an arbitary number, subtract this value from your desired claw's required DEX to wear it. 3) Once you do the above in #2, you'll know what your base DEX is. Here's an example below. == "I have 1b mesos. I just spent 400m on a 65 ATK Craven and left 600m for DEX equipment. With it, I got.. 05 DEX MoN 15 DEX zhelm 25 DEX sauna robe 10 DEX shoes 10 DEX cape 10 DEX earrings 05 DEX Belt -- 80 DEX from equipment. Knowing that I need 140 DEX to wear the red craven, I would need 60 base DEX assuming I actually have the equipment above to wear the claw without trouble." == I didn't consider any of the ATK/LUK bonuses that you could get from that equipment as I was only giving examples of the DEX. Anyway, just an example.

To be honest Low-Dex is better but only once weapon attack is worth nice amount of LUK. If you get a top bottom though, for me anyway I have 1 less added LUK from equips + all the dex required to wear my level 100 claw compared to when I was dexless AND I have a higher total weapon attack than when I was dexless.

[/quote] Yeah, that all sounds reasonable, but would you guys recommend me start out dexless and then start making dex equips as I near 120 then start adding into luk to equip a craven or reverse claw? I'm thinking about getting craven first then selling it to make and scroll a reverse claw around when or if vegas come back.
