Quit maple for WoW? - BasilMarket Forum

If you know the game WoW (World of Warcraft), then please read the following. I am going to be getting a new computer at September. This is also when my parents said I'm allowed to buy WoW if I choose to do so. I don't know whether I should take it or not. If I play maple, I'll probably get about one $30 nx per month, but if I play WoW, it'll charge me $20 a month. Now, I have no idea what to choose. Many people say WoW is superior (which I KNOW it is, but I just want a second opinion), but I can't decide on my own. If you never played WoW, please do not vote. So tell me which I should choose, and state why.

Maple is fun, because of its simplicity. Nexon is destroying that simplicity by adding so many action skills. Most people play maple because of the cycle : kill moster and get money from them, use the money to kill more monsters. WoW is not simple. It may be more fun, because it is more challenging. Maple is not that challenging, and it does not require skill.

WoW is $15 a month I played it. I got to level 70 and when the new update came along, I logged in from a friends computer and quited. (now there is a new update coming soon.) Why I liked WoW? - Friends? That was it. Forget the whole price factor, forget that WoW is 3D and Maple is not. The whole User Interface (UI) was not good. I did not like it one bit. Inventory (bag) was horrible. Droping items was a bad thing. Dieing was not offten but when you did die, your godly items arnt godly anymore. Oh ya, Level 1 to 55 is just questing. Level 55 to 70 is more questing. Level 70 to 80 (soon to be level 85) is bossing and raiding. No grinding, they got rid of grinding. Now why did I quit WoW. To get the best gear( equipment) you have to be the highest level. When I was level 70 I had the best gear (equipment) and i was nice in damage and such, when the update happen and the highest level was 80. My gear was un able to wear or something. the point is my best item I had to train to 80. which made me mad! Now the only good thing about WoW is... customer service. thats it.

Play WoW if people say the graphics are bad I would like you to turn it up max settings with 8X AA and go to Dalaran or Alterac Valley.

[/quote] Now you clearly, don't understand how to play the game. your UI AND bags are all customizable. You can download addons. I personally have an addon called Bagnon which basically gives me 1 big bag instead of 5 seperate ones. The whole game is basically raiding at 80 (max level). Getting to max level isn't a big grind or hard, it just takes 2 weeks at most if you play each day. You can REPAIR your gear when you die because your gear loses durability so it becomes broken as you fight monsters or die (makes sense since you wear things out with more use.) There are also tons of dungeons to experience besides questing. You sir, have played the game wrong, LOL. EDIT: Oh and the "big update" is called an expansion. It means a newer version came out with a new level cap and new dungeons/raids. If you can't get 10 levels, then you're a scrub.

Quit maple for WoW? I will never play some game like WoW. The graphics are kinda bad, the community is really bad, and the character appearance are bad (not sexy at all). Get hacked and you will go suicide. Why not play an easy leveling game or a videogame (all contents are in my own opinion)? I actually prefer a more fun community.
