Is raising my ping possible?

How can I raise my ping? I know that lower ping is better :P For example, my ping is 80, I want it to be 200. Is this possible, without changing my internet service, I don't mind altering my connection(if i knew how..) What would be a huge file I can download that I can just easily delete when it's done?

I'm sure there are programs that make your internet connection delay. I'm not sure why you want a higher ping though. Doesn't make sense to me. o_o But, just run MapleStory, download a huge file, run a few YouTube videos all at the same time. It should work.

[/quote] I'm playing SA-MP, I want higher ping so people can't hit me as easily ^_^ I'm playing paintball with my brother, I wanna make him mad. Edit: I tried barely plugging my modem in, but that didn't really work :P

First off, it's called latency. Secondly, why do you want to make yourself essentially lag? EDIT: Never mind, I just saw your post explaining why. Anyway, any hits to your character in whatever game it is will still be registered...and you'd run the risk of disconnecting. I don't see why you'd bother.

[/quote] Ping, latency it's the same, it says a number under Ping on vent, CS:S SA-MP, whatever. Second, higher ping in SA-MP is good when fighting, it's hard to explain why but it makes you really hard to hit..

When you lag in games, people see you in one place even though you're in another. When I want to lag, I just raise my CPU usage and use a lot of programs that use a high amount of bandwidth. Like I said Maple+Multiple YouTube videos+Multiple downloads = Slower internet connection.

Lol are you trying to play gps so having high ping makes them lag so u can take a better shot at them?
