Neo City and Kerning Square, My opinion (before release)

Nexon Forums explanation of the 2 new places Ok, I have read some of the stuff over for these 2 new cities, and although I am not like most in the fact that I thought we were getting Neo Tokyo (which I would gladly take over take over the new places). Neo City is a new time traveling city (?) and it depends on which quest you finish to see which time period you are in, now this seems like a solid idea... so did CPQ2 >.> As we all are full aware, CPQ2 is so far worse then it's relative that no one uses it (at least I did it once and found to be completely annoying and beyond stupid) and I am not taking any chances with Neo City, if it smells bad, it can't get much better. Kerning Square is a mall. What more do I need to say? How can you put a Mall into MapleStory? Will you be able to buy higher lvl'd armor? I bet not. If the former is not true, then what will the use of this place even be? None, just like adding a Time traveling Place instead of the godly Neo Tokyo (from what I have seen it looks amazing). Now I will proceed to try to download KMS or JMS to play around in Neo Tokyo and to mess around with the Evan Class. hopefully this plan will work. Good bye for now Basilers :D Mike

Whereas I agree with you in principle, your arguments regarding Kerning Square aren't very strong. Kerning Square is based on Formosa's Taipei 101 world tour zone, which was also a mall. The monsters, though admittedly strange, are fitting and interesting. They're also 20-30 levels more powerful than the Kerning Square versions, mostly because Kerning Square is restricted to players under level 50. As for Neo City, I've done more than enough ranting about that in the last 24 hours. Suffice to say that the area adds virtually nothing to the gameplay experience; it's a waste of everyone's time, our money, and Nexon's development resources.

I think more content = great for people . SO STOP WHINING, it will eventually come one day , bunch of .... inpatient people. All of you whine because you get new content. You people were whining because it was hard to level back then, and now whine because how it's easy. All of you whine because there was leech back then, now most of people who were against leech, whine. This community is just whining about everything that pops out. IF you don't like neo city, just don't go there and stick to your old spot.. Isn't it that hard to understand? I'd rather play new content every month instead of playing the beta maplestory forever... I've seen that most of the people who whine about neo city are 70 and less. Like you could go in neo tokyo at this level ? No. Shut up and enjoy.. /End rant.
