| Last week, I made a purchase a 52" Sony Bravia V-Series. (1080p, 4xHDMI, BE2 Engine, Sony Sync). I bought it from Costco. Well, it was acting up the first few days after I brought it home. First of all, there was this weird smell after I left the TV on for about 5 hours because I forgot to turn it off when I left home. I turned off the TV and didn't turn it on until the next day. After that, there was this really weird dim spot at the top corner of my screen. I called the Cable company, but they said it wasn't typical. So I called Costco and they said they can replace my Sony, but it will cost $250 since I didn't buy the "Extended" warranty. Well, I dont want to pay $250 for something that probably has to do with loose wiring or poor handling. Can someboduy help me? I'll explain more if somebody's got a clue on what to do. |
