I MUST HAVE Friends on Facebook

It's so annoying how people treat friends on Facebook like some stupid status symbol. I still get friend requests from people I have 1 mutual friend with, or requests from someone I know but literally never talk to. What's your definition of 'friend' on facebook and how many do you have?

To me a friend on facebook is someone who I have seen, or remotely looks like someone I know. They exist for the sole purpose of making me look like I have a life.

My friends post the most banal and simple thoughts conceivable. It's as if they actually worked to make their posts uninteresting and mundane.

340 friends. I would say 30 people added me that i didnt know in person but we are in the same city. And usually i eventually get to see them in the mall and just say a quick hi. I dont add people who i never talked to or live in a different county as me.

Wowee. I have no more than 40 friends, that I remember. I did delete like 60 people from HS I barely knew though, if not more.
