EDIT: I see there is some confusion. Series= Anime AND Manga. I don't want to fix all the questions so LOOK HERE Calculate your score. Each question answered gives you five points! Are YOU an otaku? Tell tale signs: 1. You can read, write, and converse in Japanese, AND it isn't your first language. 2. You rabidly wait for the next upload of your favourite series and whine when it's late 3. You frequent a bulletin board or forum and write about your reaction to the last episode and read way into the episode about where the series is going, as well as animation quality 4. You purchase a fair amount of DVDs of your favourite series. 5. You spend a lot of money on official merchandise, which include Drama CDs, CDs, figurines, and posters 6. You cut down on other expenses in order to get said merchandise and DVDs 7. You know the characters of your favourite anime better than you know your best friend 8. You may not actually have a best friend 9. You may not actually have IRL friends, for that matter (online friends don't count unless you've met them face to face) 10. You go to anime conventions 11. You cosplay at anime conventions 12. You actually can understand the concept of "moe" 13. Akibahara is your number one place to visit when you go to Japan 14. You engage in fanfic or write doujinshi 15. You are willing to pay for good fanfic or doujinshi 16. More than half of your music collection is Jpop. From anime OPs and EDs. 17. You have watched more than 30 anime series in your lifetime 18. You have watched more than 100 anime series in your lifetime 19. You know well known directors, seiiyus, and mangakas by name and reputation (eee! he's working on THAT anime?) 20. You like French Maids, Nurses, or Catgirls. *this means if you have one of this, you score 5 pts* Points (maximum out of 100%): 10 - Anime Watcher 20 - Anime Lover 40 - Serious Anime Lover 50 - Junior Otaku / Wannabe Otaku 60 - Otaku 80 - Professional Otaku 100 - Otaku Pope Done out of boredom.
