So I'm depressed

I feel like making this because I can, and I expect to get flamed and nobody really cares. So, I have been depressed for almost 2 years now. Within these 2 years a lot has happened. I've been sexually active (Don't believe me, idc.), and it didn't help. In fact it just brought on a bunch of worrying and mixed feelings about everything. I have contemplated suicide many times. In fact, I thought about it last night. I actually planned to. Then randomly, I got a text from my best friend thanking me for everything. That 1 random text is what seriously stopped me. I don't know why I feel this way. I just do. If you have not been depressed don't tell me "get happy". You can't. Ask anybody that has been SERIOUSLY depressed. You don't just "get happy". I'm so tired of hearing that. It's like they are mocking me. Yes, I was on pills and therapy for a long time. I guess I've just never had someone there. Sorry, I just had to say this somewhere.

dont do thing that make you more depressed, like listen to sad music or think about suicide. I think you have to draw a line about what you want to achieve in life.

You need to talk to psychology or a therapist. Maybe the friend who sent you that text.

First I'd say head to a doctor, get a low dose anti-depressant, then arrange to see a therapist asap. They can adjust your prescription if need be, but the main thing will be talking with them and fixing your issue/feeling better that way.

I remember I had thoughts of suicide but then my friends stopped me and after telling em my feelings I felt WAY better.

Hang out with the friend who sent you the text, she could help. Visit a therapist, try anti-depressants.
