Cassandra's Arrow Repeatable Quest

You guys know the one I'm talking about, the one repeatable every 2 hours and gives you a cupids cape if you haven't done it yet and otherwise just gives 3-4k xp. Now, I've been doing this quest for a while now, trying to get some use out of my monsters arrows. But I started to wonder why I still hadn't ran out of arrows. I tried Cassandra's quest again and while I got the exp, I also kept the arrows. Was this just me? Or is this a glitch?

A glitch. You don't lose the arrows, lol. So it's free exp. But you can only do it once every two hours, so no power leveling .
