Well, I'm getting kind of sick of windraiders and the whole lower ascent scene, so I was wondering when I would be able to go to gobies, and if it is really worth going there since there is nothing about gobies in the % per hour thread. I'm doing an AE build, so at 75 I will have 9 points into AE. Any info would be great, thanks.

If ur AE build just go typhons at a early level

Yeah, but typhons isn't effective until around 21 AE. I was wondering if I could do gobies sooner than that, to kind of bridge the gap between WR and typhons.

I got around 20%/hr in Gobies, but I was around lv 80 that time. It's not that great, but I can mindlessly train there and not have to worry about finding a spot. Plus they drop overall simulators.

Gobies are fun. Nice background, swimming environment, great for Monster Crystal farming, and I leveled there from 90 to 100 (I hate Typhons with a passion). You need high strafe (to knock down the houses in a quick amount of time, and also for the Bone Fish), high blizzard would be ideal (so frozen gobies don't attack after they thaw out), and a good amount of AE to spam when they're clumped together. I guess the only way to find out if it's good for you is for you to explore and find out!

I went to gobies at 79, any earlier is very hard due to hp and efficiency in killing them. I am thinking about typhons though they seem like better exp.

Also you cannot effectively train at Gobies at your level, it is more than Arrow Eruption/Arrow Rain, you have to have a strong single hit attack (Strafe) to kill Bone Fish and open the Goby Houses. But to be said, if you are running out of potion money or want a change from Typhons you always have Gobies, excellent money making place that has good training as well.

Yea i'd say you should wait for around level 80+

you'll need to wait longer to go to gobies then just getting to 21 AE, you'll need 21 AE and probably at least 15 strafe (though I went with 11)

I went to Gobies with 9 Strafe, 21+ AE, and just 1 blizzard. All you need to do is learn where to stand to not get hit by Goby Houses and how to circulate to avoid having to blizz + strafe Bone Fish because with low level strafe, it will take kind of a while. I'd recommend a macro though. I went at 84 and got about 28-30% an hour. edit: Actually at 84 I got a little more than that. At level 87 I got 26% an hour.

Gobies don't reguire high lvl of blizzard. Lvl1 is enough, the rest (2-21) is just a luxury. The only thing you need is a decent lvl of strafe and AE. For AE you need a high enough lvl to constantly KB the gobies. Strafe for bone fishes and bomb houses. You could go as early as lvl1 AE, lvl1 blizzard if you really want to. Most people go like after lvl80 with 1 blizz, lvl11+ AE and the rest into strafe. Gobies is really nice exp, is fun, and there are nice drops. Really worth going there.
