Pally or Hero?

I've decided to make a new character and can't decide which to make and none of the warrior guides that would help are working so I'm asking you guys! I'd like some info on each, thanks in advance.

Oatmeal with brownies. You can make them in under half an hour and with minimal financial investment, as opposed to a Pally/Hero which take hours upon hours even by hanging on a rope.

(other than Senyain) Training on fire charge or thunder charge only is like training a sader (unless you heavily depend on charge blow to keep mobs from attacking you) but even so, they will waste a ton of pots and end up quitting before making it to Paladin.
