What did you cap your STR at, and what do you have for funding, etc?

40 Base Str, Planning on Concerto / Dragon Revolver user Range is over 2k at 78, with a 100%'d gun. Lol. Funding is around 1b, probably less for that char atm. Will probably crank up a few more bil to get a nice gun and end-game boots 'n' cape.

I was kind of there with him throughout his journey to 4th job and he really did hunt for his own things. He only bought 1 semi-expensive gun throughout his entire journey. He Maker'd his overall, shoes, and pistol. He earned his Archaeologist Glasses, his Lilin's Ring, and his Scarlion Helmet. Everything else was purchased, for not a lot of money, I might add. And, let the record show that he hunts for all of his Pieces of Time. This creates any extra funding for potions and whatnot.

16+ str sauna, 2 str shoe (trying to get better at lv 110), 10+ str pac, 2 str 10 attack rwg, 10+ str earring, 15+ str, 20dex+ zhelm, 8 str black belt, 1~2 str glasses, Lilin ring (3) Thats about 70 str so, I'm capping my str at 50 and using a 90~100attack+ Concerto and a Dragonfire revolver if possible

low str corsairs fail, simply put. dex is cheaper than str anyways. no point in buying str equips when u can buy dex equips. go get some brains all of u

I've been lol'ing at this thread since this morning. I currently have 90 base str. I regret no points I have in my str right now. After a MoN, scar helm, and 10 str poorly scrolled dex overall, I have just enough str to wield my blindness. Getting attack gear will be so much better for your range than str scrolled gear. You sairs who want a 10+ str cape, I think it will be better to put points into str and get 10+ att. Those who have a str belt, I'm loving my 8 att belt. Str shoes...? 5/6 fs. I also believe in the end game that scrolling an overall for str is worthless. It would be a lot more worthwhile to scroll a 70+ dex overall using 50% overall dex and white scrolls to do so. BWG's are also going to be better then any makered gloves assuming you scroll them for everything getting them up to 27 att. Even though I'm talking about billions of mesos that not everyone has, it's not like I have it right now. I only had 550m funding to start with, and now I'm just making money doing some zaks and hunting PoT. Sooner or later, I will have enough money to get att gear high enough that str gear will be silly to get. Att will add more to your range than having str on your gear to add dex.

[/quote] Your comparisons are utterly ludacris. 10+ str and a 10+ pac are insanely different prices. Anyone with that much funding would obviously get a 10 att pac. It would be more reasonable if you said a 30 str cape and a 5 attack pac, but it's ridiculous what you recommend. And i doubt there are very many corsairs, let alone any class, that can afford 70 dex overalls, a perfect bwg, a 10 att pac, and more.

On Topic Though: I agree with what you say. Frei's plan sounds solid, though, only if you can actually afford all of the said equips.
