you will be remembered. you're in a better place now, a better place to luge too. RIP Nodar Kumaritashvili, its sad how close you came for your dream to come true with all the training, and it's taken away in just seconds.

Wow. RIP dude. The competition is tomorrow and the accident happened today, sad. This shows how we should value every minute of our life because anything can happen. My condolences goes to his family and the team.

Honestly, it isnt funny how close he was to his drream, it's actually quite sad. He was born with a dream, the dream to compete in a winter olympics game. He finally got there, and what happens? He's sstripped of his glory, his hard work, and his passion. What did he do to deserve this? Nothing. There is nothing a man can do they deserve to die, let alone be 2 steps away from the finsih line and being crushed. It's cruel how hard he worked, the hours upon hours, days upon days, years upon years he worked for the few minutes of glory on Saturday, February 13, all taken away because of a small accident. Rest in Peace, You made us proud =). I hope your in a better place now.

Personally, the Olympics disgust me. Cities tear down stadiums and buildings and re-build them out of the greatest resources to impress the world... The debt, financial cost, etc. could have gone to something more productive, useful, for the nation/city. Hate me. OT: Yeah, I felt really bad after hearing about it. You're so close to your dream but it's taken away in seconds...
